This latest product in IST’s product line is a powerful
tool for the detection of terrorists identified on the Office
of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) list, the Denied Parties
List and the Canadian Office of the Superintendent of Financial
Institutions (OSFI) list.
In moments, this
product produces results in real-time, batch and online processing.
The ISTwatch® technology can deliver throughput in excess

Intelligent Search
Technology's flagship product, NameSearch, rapidly finds
records based on a name and/or address, even when those records
have variations due to phonetics, missing words, noise words,
nicknames, prefixes, keyboard errors or sequence variations.
NameSearch enables applications to find, identify and match
information. Applications that require searching include
fraud detection, CRM, customer record retrieval, merge/purge,
duplicate record detection/removal and data mining. Our NameSearch
product provides fast, accurate and easy-to-use name and
address matching. Using rule-based expertise, neuralnet technology
and advanced heuristcal pattern matching algorithms, NameSearch
produces faster and more accurate matches than any commercially
available software of its kind.
For ISTwatch® special
name searching services were created to handle problems that
arise from data sources containing combinations of Anglo,
European and Middle Eastern names. For example, Middle Eastern
last names are frequently preceded by “Al” or “El” used
interchangeably and often concatenated. ISTwatch® is
designed to overcome these problems while providing for successful
retrieval of names like “Alice,” “Albert,” “Alderman,” and “Alexander” or “Al
Rasheed,” “Alharamayn,” and “Al-Kadr.” ISTwatch® intelligently
overcomes inherent conflicts due to linguistic characteristics
of multi-national geographic regions.
